The newest member of CFRU’s team, Christopher has been involved in campus and community radio since the 1990s, doing music, spoken word and news. Contact him if you’re looking to volunteer at CFRU, or if you want information on the opportunities available to volunteers.

Hello. I'm Peter, the music coordinator/librarian at CFRU. I listen to/process all of the music that comes into the station. If you would like to receive my weekly charts/new releases emails, let me know! If you wish to set up an interview or in-studio, please contact Tara-Michelle.
If you are looking to send your band's cd to CFRU, please ensure that:
1. your CD comes in a regulation sized case with the name on the spine
2. that you put your band's name on the return address of the envelope
3. that you contact us by e-mail only for tracking - phone us only if you have a local show

We also accept vinyl submissions. For now, digital submissions are mostly useless to us.
Please be environmentally aware when sending us CDs! Recyclable envelopes, please! Also, we don't want to receive portfolios with glossy photos or newspaper clippings. We'll laugh at the photo and throw out the clippings.

The Community Outreach Coordinator at CFRU works on many different tasks at once, including: volunteer trainings, community outreach, party/event organization, psa production, community based education/programing, funding drive organization, and station promotion. If you have suggestions for the station, feel free to send them my way. And please, do not hesitate to drop by and introduce yourself. We are in a big time of big change here at CFRU Watch for news of future orientations, trainings, and new opportunities to contribute to the station.

Steve is the Tech guy, if its broken (or soon to be) you talk to him. Need some training for production or recording outside the stations? Talk to him. Need a loan? Well.....maybe not but worth a shot.

Tara-Michelle is excited to be the new Program Coordinator at CFRU. She comes to the position with a million years of campus-community radio experience, mostly in Spoken Word and News, but definitely in Music, Live-to-Airs and special events too. Talk to Tara-Michelle if you are trained and want to get on the air, need to take the Programming & Policy training, are on the air and need to communicate with the station or just for the fun of it.
