CFRU has two state-of-the-art audio studios available to volunteers who have attended General Orientation and Production & Editing Training.

To book a studio, look at the calendars below and select a time without a previous booking (max two hours). Email book@cfru.ca with the studio name, day, time and duration you would like. A staff member will confirm your booking as soon as possible.

The TRAINING STUDIO features a Windows PC and is set up in a similar way to our On-Air Studio, with broadcast console, three microphones, recording software, and stereo mix recording capabilities. The PRODUCTION STUDIO features a Mac computer, audio production console, three microphones, stereo mix recording, plus multitrack recording and extensive music production hardware and software. The calendars below show times when the studios have been booked by other users. The station’s open office hours are 10am to 4pm weekdays. You can book the studios anytime the University Centre is open including weekends, but outside of station office hours you will need an access card to enter. To request an access card, email book@cfru.ca.
